I spy some sort of satanic project... looks exciting! These are great as always, I love how well you render the faces, they look amazingly detailed from afar but from up close I realize it's just a few pencil strokes; mixed up with the line weights of the figure it creates a really ghostly graceful effect. Do you mind telling me what pencil you're using? I can tell it's not graphite, but I'm lost to what it actually is.
hey sebbonaparte: thanks dood. These are graphite actually. I use a .5 mechanical, .3 mechanical and 3b and b wooden prismacolor pencil. I sometimes use black prismacolor colored pencils too. It might be the levels adjustments in photoshop after scanning that make it look like something other than pencil...
